Well it is a beautiful day here and I am overjoyed to see the sunshine! Right now I am reading a few different things, so here is a quick progress report:
New Grub Street by George Gissing. This is a classic that I am reading right now for my lit class and I am really enjoying it. It revolves around several characters in the 1890s London literary community. It is very interesting and also feels very current. Much of what the writers are going through in the book resonates with today's literary community.
Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. The sequel to Inkheart, I am taking my time with this one.
Pride and Predjudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith. I love Jane Austen and I love zombies, so I thought I would love this book to death(haha), but I can't get into it. This book is taking me a long time.
The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson. I am listening to this in my car right now and I am pretty engrossed. It is a very interesting concept, although a bit preachy at times. I am on the last disc.
I can't seem to finish anything right now with all of the homework I have, but I am still around, I promise! Ok guys, have a good rest of your week! I hope your weather is as good as mine.
